Located in the La Villette Park, the Cité de la Science et de l'Industrie offers a complete panorama of sciences and technology, including communication, environment, health, astronomy, and computers. Through exhibitions, as well as shows, models, conferences and interactive games; the Cité de la Science et de l'Industrie effectively communicates the purpose, the necessity, and the reasoning behind each of the sciences. Additionally, Cité de la Science et de l'Industrie houses a planetarium, mediterranean aquarium, Louis-Lumière cinema showing 3D films, as well as a media library.
In the park, there is a real submarine, the Argonaute, and for children aged 3 to 12 there is the Cité des Enfants. For children ages 12 to 15 there is the Techno cité, and finally the Géode and its 1000 sq. m hemispherical screen is a must see, as well as the Cinaxe, a simulation theatre.
