Hotel description The Timhotel Nation was an Indian cinema in the 1950's but is now a 50 roomed hotel with a delighful patio situated in the 20ieme district on the eastern side of Paris.
All rooms have en suite bathroom, direct dial phone and satellite or cable TV. There is WiFi and high speed internet access and a fax. Reception is available 24 hours a day and pets are welcome. The Timhotel Nation also has rooms for disabled guests.
Although it is not in the centre of Paris, it is easy to access the popular tourist sights from the Timhotel Nation by travelling on the Metro from nearby Avron station. However, the Timhotel Nation is situated in one of Paris's most historic areas. The Place de la Nation was the site of the guillotine during the French Revolution and the Place de la Bastille, as its name suggests, is where the infamous Bastille prison was situated and now is home to the Opera Bastille where you can see ballet and opera live.
For more entertainment why not visit the very modern Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy, one of Paris's most interesting contemporary buildings with a pyramid design covered in grass. Here you can see a whole range of sporting events as well as rock concerts and classical opera.
The Timhotel Nation is also close to the Bois de Vincennes, a lovely open park where you can find Paris's zoo and the Parc Floral du Paris and, in April and May, France's largest funfair.
