Hotel description The Timhotel Italie is a 77 roomed hotel in the 13ieme district of Paris which houses the Chinatown area. It is situated in the "Petite Russie" quarter, so named after the Russian immigrants who fled here after the Revolution. Built in the Haussmann style, the Timhotel Italie offers its guests a choice of rooms including triples, ideal for a family group.
All rooms have en suite bathrooms, direct dial phone and TV with cable channels. There is WiFi and dial up internet access and iron and hairdryer on request. At reception, which is 24 hour, there is a safe, and guests can use the fax and WiFi or dial up internet access. Pets are welcome.
The Timhotel Italie is close to many of Paris's famous sights such as Notre Dame cathedral, the Jardin des Plantes and the Jardin du Luxembourg and some of the not so well known ones such as the Catacombes de Paris, not for the squeamish! Just round the corner, the Place d'Italie has cinemas, bars and restaurants as well as being home to the shopping mall Italie 2.
A stone's throw from the Timhotel Italie lies the 15 hectares of Montsouris Park, where you can stroll and enjoy a large variety of plant and bird life. The nearby Complex Sportif de Bercy hosts events as diverse as show jumping and rock concert, and the whole Butte aux Cailles area is full of windy cobbled streets which are home to trendy bars and restaurants.
