Located in the mainly residential 15ième district of Paris, the Eiffel Ségur is a small, traditional hotel with views of the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides. Its 34 air conditioned guest rooms have a safe, direct dial phone, and WiFi internet access. There is a courtesy tray in all rooms and satellite TV. The en suite bathroom comes equipped with a hairdryer. Reception at the Eiffel Ségur is open 24 hours a day and there is a calm and peaceful patio garden which is a lovely spot to relax in.
The Eiffel Ségur is in a wonderful position for your base on your visit to the capital. You are within walking distance of many of Paris' most famous landmarks as well as some new ones such as the Musée du Quai Branly. The building has a "living wall" (200m long by 12m tall) on part of the exterior of the museum which, at installation, was quite healthy and vibrant, however, over time, the inadequate support system for the plants roots, irrigation and drainage have become visually evident. The museum complex contains several buildings, as well as a mediatheque and a garden and includes the collections of the now-closed Musée des Arts Africains et Océaniens and the ethnographic department of the Musée de l'Homme. It contains 267,000 objects in its permanent collection, of which 3,500 items from the collection are on display. Obviously, one of the must see sights is the iconic Eiffel Tower, just 1.5km from the hotel. Enjoy the nighttime illuminations.
