The Relais La Fayette is a typical Parisian style hotel with 51 air conditioned guest rooms, including triples and quadruples, in the central 10ième district of the capital, only a stone's throw from the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est railway stations. All the rooms are double glazed, have en suite bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial phone, satellite TV and mini bar. The reception desk is open 24 hours a day and has a safe deposit box for guests' use. It also offers mobile phone (cell phone) rental. Small pets are welcome to stay.
As the Relais La Fayette is so close to two of the major rail stations it makes an ideal base for your visit to the "City of Lights". The Gare du Nord is the Eurostar terminus an the Gare de l'Est provides a route to Europe via the Orient Express. Both stations have Métro connections to the rest of Paris. However, on your doorstep lie many of the most famous Parisian sights. If shopping is your thing you are a short walk from the fabulous department stores of Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps, both housed in amazing buildings and containing a huge selection of brand name designer goods. The St Quentin covered market, built in 1866, has an iron and glass roof covering a maze of corridors full of gourmet food stalls. Be sure to take a stroll to the winding narrow streets of Montmartre and enjoy the views from the Basilica of Sacré Cœur.
