The Regina Opera is a 44 room 3 star hotel inside a 5 storey, traditional style building which was completely renovated in 2005.
The guest rooms are all air conditioned and have en suite bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial phone and TV with satellite channels. There is internet access in the rooms and WiFi in the public areas of the hotel. The bedrooms are decorated in light wood with warm colours. There is a safe at reception and the Regina Opera offers a laundry service. The breakfast room is bright and simply but tastefully decorated.
The Regina Opera makes an ideal base for your visit to Paris. It is centrally located in the 9ieme district, a diverse residential area popular with the artistic crowd. It is a short walk from the Pompidou Centre which contains cinemas, a restaurant with panoramic views and an art collection and library as well as temporary exhibitions in an architecturally innovative building.
You can also stroll to the Opera Garnier, another unique piece of architecture from an earlier age. Famous sights such as the Louvre and Notre Dame Cathedral are also very accessible from the Regina Opera and if you have come to Paris to shop, you could not be in a better spot.
The Grands Boulevards, built on the old city ramparts, now house top name designer clothes and jewellry stores as well as shopping malls such as Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. The Les Halles area, once Paris's food market and now a trendy shopping and leisure complex, is also close by.
