The Madeleine Plaza is a small, friendly hotel in a very central location close to all the major sights of Paris. Its 49 air conditioned guest rooms, some of which overlook the Place de la Madeleine and its pretty church, all have en suite bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial phone, modem and cable TV. There is a mini bar and courtesy tray for your refreshment as well as a safe and trouser press. Some of the rooms are interconnecting and there are two that are specially adapted for disabled visitors. The Madeleine Plaza has a concierge who will help to organise trips, transport and tickets and also provides breakfast time room service. As a guest at the Madeleine Plaza you are right in the middle of everything Paris has to offer. The Place de la Madeleine is home to designer names such as Cartier, Hermès, Armani and Dior and the wonderful department stores of Galeries Lafayette an Le Printemps are a mere 200m away. If you want art and culture, walk to the famous Louvre Museum or the Musée d'Orsay, once a railway station and now housing the foremost collection of French Impressionist and Post Impressionist art. The bohemian Montmartre area is within easy walking distance and here you can visit the Basilica of Sacré Cœur and see modern artists' work at the Place du Tertre. The iconic Eiffel Tower is easily accessible and is a sight well worth seeing, especially at night.
