The Lorette Opéra has a freestone façade typical of the 1900s and a carved stone doorway with solid wooden doors leading to a light and modern lobby. Renovated in 2004, it has 84 fully air conditioned guestrooms which have climate control, en suite bathroom, hairdryer and iron. There is satellite TV, and phone and WiFi internet access to help you keep in touch and an in room safe for your security. Reception is open 24 hours a day and there is a patio where you can relax in the warmer weather. The public areas are air conditioned and have WiFi internet access.
The Lorette Opéra lies between Montmartre and the Opéra districts. A 10 minute walk will take you to the Palais Garnier, built in 1860 by the young architect Charles Garnier in the style of the Second Empire. It was completed in 1875 at the beginning of the Third Republic and was the largest opera theatre in the world with a stage large enough for 450 players. Equally near located on Butte Montmartre, the Sacré-Cœur Basilica is a monument that can be seen from wherever you are in Paris. Built in the Romano-Byzantine style at the end of 19th century, it contains the largest mosaic in the world, covering 475 sqm, wonderful stained glass windows, a large organ and a dome of 83 meters. Visiting the Dome you will have a fantastic view of more than 50km around. Take the Montmartre funicular to reach it: a very attractive means of transport.
