Hotel description
The Londres et New York is a 67 roomed, 3 star hotel in the 8ieme central area of Paris. It is fully air conditioned and all rooms have en suite bathrooms with hairdryers. There will be a mini bar and safe in your room as well as TV with satellite channels and WiFi internet access. Breakfast is served in the lounge which has views over the quiet inner courtyard, as do some of the bedrooms. The bar is a great place to get a coffee or cocktail. Pets are welcome and there is a laundry service.
The Londres et New York is close to the business and tourist areas of the city, easily accessible from Gare St Lazare mainline station and only 20 minutes from the Eurostar terminal at Gare du Nord.
The Grands Magasins department store is on your doorstep as are many of the sights of this lovely capital city. Within walking distance of the Londres et New York you can find the Place de la Madeleine, a temple to the Great Army which was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806. Just as close, the Opera Garnier is a fine example of the Second Empire style of architecture and has fantastic acoustics.
Its central location means that from your base at the Londres et New York you can reach both the Louvre, close to the river Seine and the Romano-Byzantine splendour of Sacre Cœur on the hill of Montmartre equally easily. The nearby Metro and RER at St Lazare will whisk you to slightly more distant sights. |
