This 34. storey, 1,000 room, 4 star hotel is situated in the centre of Paris at the end of the famous Champs Elysees close to the Arc de Triomphe. It was built in the 1970s on the site of the Luna Park pre-war amusement park and is furnished in a contemporary style, with the largest lobby of all Parisian hotels and forms part of the Centre Internationale de Paris, a major congress, exhibition and shopping complex.
This location makes the Concorde La Fayette ideal for the business traveller and the hotel itself has a multitude of conference and meeting rooms ranging from 2,000 sq m of exhibition space capable of holding up to 4,000 people, all daylit and divisible into 11 separate rooms, to more intimate rooms for only 10. All have state-of-the-art audio-visual and conferencing equipment and the Concorde La Fayette has both high speed and WiFi internet access. Access to the Concorde La Fayette could not be easier. It has parking for 1800 vehicles with 24 hour assistance and is on the direct Air France shuttlebus route from both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports. It is a short distance from Gare St Lazare and within walking distance of La Defense on line 1 of the Metro. Local nearby tourist sites include Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Sacre Cœur and there are the most amazing shopping opportunities right next door in the mall, which also has a cinema complex.
